Founded in 1999 by a group of dedicated wine connoisseurs and businessmen, Tanunda Cellars has grown into one of Australia""s leading back vintage wine resellers. Wine lovers from all over Australia and overseas enjoy wines purchased from Tanunda Cellars, along with valuable and historical information about the different vintages and varieties. As the cellar stock expands, the staff log the history of each item and ensure it is stored appropriately. Many wine investors purchase products from Tanunda Cellars, and knowing the history of each particular bottle gives them confidence about their investment. The continued growth of Tanunda Cellars seen a new store open at Maleny, in South East Queensland. In 2009 Tanunda Cellars in Maleny was rebadged to its new QLD indenty of Purple Palate Fine Wines & Events. Later in 2009 another Purple Palate store also opened its door in the heart of Brisbane's CBD and both Purple Palate stores play host to many local events celebrating the wonderful world of wines.
